About us
Shalini George
Hey there, I'm Shalini. Most days you can find me working in my little home office, perched up on a hill, over-looking and enjoying the most beautiful landscape, I have set my eyes on. Truly blessed to live in this little country town about 1.5 hours from Melbourne. I am mostly known for idealistic outlook to life. I'm really passionate about helping people see the beauty in our everyday lives and creating homes that nurture us on a daily basis. You know, our environment has a huge impact on our mental state, so it's important to create spaces that contribute to our happiness, peace and our general well-being.
I design for people who understand the importance of their home and who wish to create a place that they are proud of and most importantly love going back to at the end of each day. Usually my clients have a vision of what they want to achieve but do not know how they are going to get there. They generally need me to guide them towards that dream that they carry. With my years of experience in this field, it has become quite easy to figure out that "grand vision" and understand my clients to such an extent, that I am able to "hold their hand" and gently guide them in creating a home that they have been yearning for.
I have been showcased in Home Beautiful magazine and have won multiple awards from Houzz for both design and service.
When I'm not busy, you can catch me trying my best at DIY furniture flipping (my new found hobby!), sitting on the couch with a cup of tea and watching Netflix or the latest Indian movie with my husband and my two little girls (no longer little!!) or satiating my need for perfection in having the house and car spotless, by cleaning and then cleaning some more! I find it quite therapeutic actually.
